Come & Try Rhythmic Gymnastics 💗 Shine Bright 4th Anniversary

Ever wondered what rhythmic gymnastics is all about?

Whether your child has never tried gymnastics before or already loves dancing, movement and sport, we’d love to invite you to our first Shine Bright Community Day!

On Saturday 12 September, we’re opening our gym for a fun, relaxed and completely free afternoon where children can come along, get moving and discover the joy of rhythmic gymnastics.

And we’re making it extra Shine Bright by asking everyone to wear pink! 🎀

What will we do?

We’ll start with a fun warm-up together, followed by some simple gymnastics movements including balances, jumps and turns.

Then we’ll explore the apparatus that makes rhythmic gymnastics so much fun:

🎀 Ribbon

⭕ Hoop

🔮 Ball

🪢 Rope

The session is designed to be light, playful and beginner-friendly, so no previous gymnastics experience is needed.

Parents are very welcome too! You can watch from the side, but we’d love you to join in, have a go with the apparatus and enjoy the experience together.

Who can come?

Community Day is open to children aged 4–16, especially complete beginners who are curious to discover what rhythmic gymnastics is all about.

Already a Shine Bright gymnast? Bring someone with you! Invite a friend, sibling, cousin or schoolmate to come and try it alongside you. Sharing our love of rhythmic gymnastics is what Community Day is all about 💗

What happens afterwards?

If your child loves the session and wants to keep going, we’ll be happy to answer your questions about our regular Shine Bright classes and help you find the right group.

At Shine Bright, we want every gymnast to feel welcome, supported and part of a community. Whether your child simply wants to try something new or dreams of developing their skills further, we’d love to help them find their own path.
