Rhythmic Gymnastics
is so much more than just
the other gymnastics

Mission and Vision
Shine Bright Gymnastics was created with a clear mission in mind: to raise awareness of rhythmic gymnastics as an Olympic sport in England. It's time to give this beautiful sport the recognition it deserves in stead of referring to it as the other gymnastics. We will do it by providing a supportive and fun learning environment for all those who want to join the rhythmic gymnastics adventure.
Core Values
Inclusivity
We welcome every child with open arms—no matter their background, experience, or ability. Everyone deserves to shine.
Empowerment
Through movement, creativity, and encouragement, we help girls grow in confidence and discover what they’re truly capable of.
Community
We’re more than a club—we’re a family. Together, we celebrate progress, lift each other up, and create lifelong memories.
Our Story
How Shine Bright began 💖
I started Shine Bright Gymnastics in September 2022 after noticing a missing link in the world of rhythmic gymnastics — a place where girls could discover the beauty of the sport without the pressure of professional commitment.
I wanted to build an environment where every child feels successful and challenged, no matter their starting point or ability.

Our Philosphy 🤸♀️
At Shine Bright, inclusivity and empowerment are at the heart of everything we do.
We celebrate personal progress over comparison and focus on confidence, teamwork, and self-worth — not just perfect routines.
Our goal is to help change the culture around rhythmic gymnastics and show that the sport can be joyful, inspiring, and accessible to all.

Our Growth ✨
What began with just 25 gymnasts in two groups has grown into a vibrant community of around 80 members across seven groups. We proudly take part in local competitions and co-organise Rhythmic Dream Champs, London’s first recreational rhythmic event.

Our Vision 💖
More than medals or results, our goal is for every child to feel seen, valued, and supported.
We create positive experiences that help gymnasts grow into confident, kind, and resilient young people.
Looking ahead, our vision is to develop an educational recreational programme that can expand to more Shine Bright branches across England — raising the profile of rhythmic gymnastics nationwide.

Our Space
Spacious, safe, and fully equipped — our Kensington facility is ready for all training needs.

About Rhythmic Gymnastics
Rhythmic gymnastics is an Olympic sport in which gymnasts perform on a floor with an apparatus: hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon or rope. It's a beautiful balance of acrobatics and dance. Gymnasts must be strong, flexible, agile, dexterous and coordinated.
