Still few recreational spots left - book your classes here
Club Rules
By registering your daughter to Shine Bright Gymnastics you are agreeing to comply with the following rules. Not following of the rules will result in the termination of your membership.
General
-
The training term is 40 weeks between September and July.
-
There are no classes during half terms, but there is a class during the May Day bank holiday.
-
Our rhythmic gymnastics classes are taking place in the main hall of Kensington Primary Academy School at 205 Warwick Road, W14 8QZ based on the timetable stated on the website.
-
Only gymnasts, coaches and volunteers are allowed in the gym during the training. Parents are not allowed to stay by the door as it distracts gymnasts and disrupts the class.
-
SBG doesn't take responsibility for any valuables left at the premises.
-
Coaches are allowed to use British Gymnastics supporting/spotting techniques when helping the gymnast understand the correct position, shape or movement.
-
Gymnastics is a sport, which requires a high level of safety and discipline. Therefore, coaches are allowed to use the appropriate level of verbal discipline necessary to avoid accidents and minimise injuries.
Classes
-
Every month might have a different number of training days (due to half terms & holidays) while during the entire training season the number of training weeks is equalised.
-
In case of a participant's absence it is not possible to join another group’s training or come at a different day. Absence at the training is not a basis for reduction or cancelation of the monthly fee.
-
If class had to be cancelled by SBG or by venue’s unavailability it will be moved to a next agreed date.
-
Punctuality is mandatory. Children late more than 15 min won’t be allowed to participate to avoid possible injuries from missing the warm up.
-
To resign from the classes you must inform us by email at least 1 month before the start of the next monthly payment.
Fees
-
Payments for classes are made in advance through the joinin account.
-
The billing period starts on the 27th. The booking system will send out an invoice and start processing the payment a few days prior to that.
-
The monthly fee is dependent from the amount of training days in the particular month. It applies even if the child is ill or away. Monthly fee reserves your child's spot in the group.
-
Signing up in the middle of the month will result in paying weekly fees until the end of the month in question.
-
Please note that we have a strict NO RETURNS POLICY for all of the payments.
Membership
-
All new participants are subject to a Club Membership Fee of £30 which then allows them to book onto the selected classes.
-
All SBG members need to have a valid British Gymnastics membership to be covered with insurance, and therefore to be allowed to participate in the classes.
-
Club Membership will renew automatically on the 1st of September, unless you only joined in July same year - then you'll be exempt from the membership renewal for that year.
-
Late monthly payments or lack of payment will result in termination of gymnasts’ membership.
Gymnasts
-
Gymnasts who are ill or have a cold are not allowed to participate in the classes. Coaches have the right to refuse entry of a Child who has visible symptoms of illness (coughing, sneezing, fever, ect.).
-
Rudeness, insults, racist behaviour, physical or mental abuse are prohibited and their use by any gymnast will result in termination of their membership.
-
All participants are obliged to follow coaches’ instructions on how to perform the exercises as well as general safety rules. Shine Bright Gymnastics is not responsible for accidents resulting from non-compliance with the coaches’ instructions.
Attire
-
It is forbidden to practice in jewellery: dangling earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings and watches/fitbits.
-
Gymnasts are required to wear club vest, black leggings and white socks / half shoes. Hair needs to be tied into a neat high bun.
-
Coaches have the right to refuse entry of a Child who’s outfit or hairstyle does not comply with the regulations and threatens the child’s safety.
-
Each gymnast is required to own apparatus based on her group requirements. You can purchase apparatus from the club directly.
